What is UPrep Together?

UPrep Together is our annual community celebration and fundraiser in support of UPrep's robust financial aid program.

 

What will my donation support?

All funds raised at UPrep Together will support UPrep’s Endowed Financial Aid Fund. As part of UPrep’s mission, we seek to create an inclusive, economically diverse student community. We envision a school where a family’s finances are not a barrier to a great UPrep education and believe a financially diverse group of students benefits everyone. Our financial aid is comprehensive, meaning it covers all costs associated with a UPrep education.

 

I made a gift to the Puma Fund in the fall. How is this event different?

The Puma Fund supports UPrep’s annual operating budget and is used in real-time during the current school year. Funds raised during UPrep Together will support UPrep’s Endowed Financial Aid Fund, which helps fund our robust financial aid program. Since the fund is an endowment, it helps to ensure the long-term viability of our ability to meet the financial aid needs of our community.

 

Do I need tickets to attend the event?

Tickets are available for purchase on the Register tab. We will have your bid card ready for you at the door to bid-in-person. You will be able to purchase a ticket at the door, but we strongly recommend purchasing in advance to save your spot!

 

If I save my credit card, will it be charged during the event?

Credit cards will not be charged until Tuesday, April 4. If you would like to make payment on your pledge with a different method of payment, please contact Annual Giving Manager, Catherine McNutt at cmcnutt@universityprep.org.

 

Event Logistics

What is the schedule for the evening?

The event will run 5:30-9:30 p.m. and we have a fun night planned!

  • 5:30-6:30 p.m. - Grade-level gatherings with passed hors d'oeuvres
  • 6:30-7:30 p.m. - Social hour and food stations
  • 7:30-8:15 p.m. - Program and paddle raise with dessert
  • 8:15-9:30 p.m. - After Party with music and late-night snacks
  • 9:30 p.m. - Event concludes

 

Is UPrep Together in-person?

We are planning to host UPrep Together fully in-person this year! There will not be a streaming option available.

 

How do I make a gift or pledge before the event if I can’t attend the event on March 31?

You can make a gift or pledge to support UPrep Together by visiting our website. Pledges can be paid anytime through June 30, 2023.

 

Where is Fremont Studios and where should I park?

Fremont Studios is located at 155 N 35th Street in Fremont. Complimentary valet parking will be provided for all guests. If you prefer not to drive, we have an Uber promo code for this event that will be emailed to you the week of the event and posted at the venue.

 

How should I dress?

Business casual, but dressier if you wish.

 

Will food and drinks be provided?

We will have food stations with heavy hors d’oeuvres. There will also be a hosted beer and wine, with a cash bar for cocktails.
