What is UPrep Together?
UPrep Together is our annual community celebration and fundraiser in support of UPrep's robust financial aid program. This year, we are thrilled to welcome our community back to an in-person event at Fremont Studios and we will livestream the program for those who are unable to be there. This festive evening will showcase speakers and student performers, provide a chance to connect with fellow UPrep parents, and feature a paddle raise in support of UPrep’s Endowed Financial Aid Fund.
What will my donation support?
All funds raised at UPrep Together will support UPrep’s Endowed Financial Aid Fund. As part of UPrep’s mission, we seek to create an inclusive, economically diverse student community. We envision a school where a family’s finances are not a barrier to a great UPrep education and believe a financially diverse group of students benefits everyone. Our financial aid is comprehensive, meaning it covers all costs associated with a UPrep education.
Do I need to register and make an account for the event?
Registration for UPrep Together is now closed. Walk-ins are welcome at the door so please join us!
If you plan to stream the event: You do not need to create an account for the event. Our whole community will receive an email with the event streaming link on the afternoon of April 1. Instructions on how to participate live will be included in that email.
Event Logistics
Is UPrep Together in person?
We are planning to host UPrep Together in person. We are closely monitoring COVID-19 cases and protocols. If we need to pivot to a fully virtual event, we will communicate that change quickly to our entire community. We are requiring all guests be fully vaccinated.
How do I stream the live event?
All members of our UPrep community will receive an email with the link 30 minutes prior to the program. Additionally, the link to the online program will be posted on our UPrep Together event page.
How do I make a gift or pledge before the event if I can’t join on April 1?
You can make a gift or pledge to support UPrep Together by visiting supportuprep.org. Pledges can be paid anytime through June 30, 2022.
Where is Fremont Studios and where should I park?
Fremont Studios is located at 155 N 35th St in Fremont. Complimentary valet parking will be provided for all guests. For those who prefer not to drive, an Uber promo code will be available and emailed to all registered guests.
Will food and drinks be provided?
We will have food stations with heavy hors d’oeuvres. There will also be hosted beer and wine, with a cash bar for cocktails.
What if the $125 admission price is prohibitive for me?
Financial aid is available if the ticket cost is prohibitive. Please contact Doug Moon in the Financial Aid office at dmoon@univeristyprep.org or 206.832.1118.
COVID Information
What COVID related precautions are in place?
We continue to closely monitor our COVID-19 protocols and will update them in accordance with local guidelines and best practices. At this time, the following precautions will be in place:
- Masks will be optional for all guests
- Fremont Studios’ HVAC system is built to handle air flow for events much larger than UPrep Together. All air is fully circulated every 11 minutes
